Q: I am the parent of a teenage daughter who is refusing to listen to me. She insists on staying out past her curfew and I just can’t make her obey my rules. What do you suggest?
Q: My spouse and I have always been on the same page when it came to disciplining our children. However, ever since our son got his driver’s license, my spouse is allowing our son far more independence than I am comfortable with. Now our son only asks his dad for permission to use the car. This is creating a lot of conflict between us. I have not spoken to my spouse about how upset I am, but it really bothers me that he has not picked up on my anger.
